We’re running by-appointment only flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinics on:
- Saturday 4 October 2025
- Saturday 11 October 2025
- Saturday 18 October 2025
We also have some extended access appointments for children and pregnant people in September. Please do not ring the surgery until you have received your text message.
How to Book
• If you’re eligible, you’ll get a text message from the practice with a secure booking link. Please note, to view this link you will need to enter the provided access code and your date of birth. Without this information you are not able to view the message.
• Click your preferred date in the link, then tap “Search” to see available slots.
• We’ll send your text in due course—please do not ring or email reception asking for it.
For patients without a mobile phone: we will contact you directly. Please do not call the surgery.
What’s Included
• If you’re due a 2025 autumn COVID-19 booster, you’ll be offered it alongside your flu jab in the same visit.
Why Book With Us?
We order our seasonal flu stock a full year in advance.
If you go elsewhere (e.g. pharmacy), unused doses become costly waste for the practice.
Booking here helps us keep services running smoothly and sustainably.
Changing Your Mind?
If you decide not to have your flu and/or COVID-19 vaccine, you can record that choice by:
- Replying to our text with:
• “Decline Flu”
• “Decline COVID”
• “Decline Both” - Or emailing us at boxsurgery@nhs.net with the vaccine name(s) you’re declining.
We’ll update your patient record accordingly.
