For items which are out of stock at your pharmacy, we would in the first instance ask that you contact at least three other pharmacies to check local supply. You may ask your pharmacy to return your prescription to the NHS spine and take the barcode to the new pharmacy for dispensing.
If there is more than one item on your original prescription, please speak with a member of our Prescriptions Team to ask for an acute issue of the item which is unavailable.
If supply remains out of stock nationally, it is helpful for your pharmacy to advise us of the alternatives they currently hold to enable us to issue an appropriate replacement for you.
