Please use Patient Triage to request a GP appointment, or for other medical or admin queries. Patient Triage is available here, and soon to be available via your NHS app. Click on this link for more information.

Urgent concerns

If you need urgent assistance please call our reception on 01225 742361 or 111 if we are closed. Please call 999 for emergencies.

Home visits

Home visits are made only to patients who are housebound or who are too ill to come to the surgery. Please help us by making the request before 10am if possible. Our triage clinician will assess your request and may call you for further information if required. Parents may be asked to bring sick children to the surgery where they will be seen promptly.

Why do we ask for certain information

To enable our receptionists and clinicians to deal with your request in the most appropriate and time-effective manner it is important that we ask for certain information about your appointment requests. Please provide as much sufficient and concise information as possible to assist us. Some problems are best dealt with by our highly trained local healthcare colleagues, rather than a GP; including physiotherapists, urgent care centre, minor injuries unit, urgent eyecare service and pharmacists.

Violence or verbal abuse is completely unacceptable and may result in you being asked to register elsewhere.

There are many free NHS health services you can access without needing an appointment with your GP. This is called self-referral and could help you find the care you need quicker and more easily than going through your surgery. Please click here to see the services you can self-refer to.

Non attendance

If you are unable to attend or no longer require an appointment, please cancel your appointment as soon as possible by calling us on 01225 742361, so we can offer the appointment to someone else.

Every month we have a large amount of clinical time wasted through non-attendance.
